How hard can it be for someone who usually gets such things done in few evenings at worst?
Sometimes... a bit harder than usual.
This is probably the longest evolving model of all these I've ever built, and out of all these which actually started evolving, definitely the smallest one. Normally I abort anything which doesn't look good from the very beginning, but this time - for unspecified reasons - I did not.
Altough it was ultimately not worth it, the process of getting there was worth it by itself

I do wonder what sort of techniques that you use. I would absolutely love to learn them....my problem is that I keep rushing things, and let my perfectionism get in the way of actually doing anything. It's a bit of a bother. (Although, I have got something done recently...it's a start...)
