My favourite of all your starfighter designs, reminds me of a swallow. Just love the wings.

Very interesting design. The only flaw I can point out is the lack of visibility on both sides because of the wing/pylon structures. That reduces visibility in combat, and increases the chances of being killed. But other than that, quite stylish.

Eh, visibility is so bad in my starfighters that all the pilots have to use some kind of virtual-reality devices anyway ;)

Take the yellow Sungem for example - pilot literally sees nothing in front of him because he sits too deep and then there is that massive bar right in the middle. (Seykel also has this flaw - front part of the cockpit canopy is actually non-transparent black :D)

All in all - LEGO starfighters are not really meant to be realistic - though some are - they are meant to be stylish and I really appreciate the fact that you like mine :)

Well that is why I have so much trouble building something (I have stuff baking for over a decade now), and I like to use the practical approach, that mirrors what we have today (the bubble cockpit of modern fighters is a painful task to emulate).
But your work is important because you are breaking the paradigm.
Don't ever stop!!!

this is one of the best lego designs I have seen in a while. my favorite part aside from the whole thing? the cockpit seems airtight! mumble grumble lego space grumble leaky cockpits. always my goal when I built space craft to make sure the cockpit seals tight ya know? if you don't mind me asking, what windshield piece is that? also how did you make the inner wing segment with the swiss cross angle in that way?

I am not sure what answer can I give you about the wing segment problem. Please describe what exactly do you have problem with?

As for windscreen, it is actually two pieces. which might be not easy to see on the photo. One more in the back is this:
