Question, how are these in size compared to the regular minis? I'd love to get just a set of plans for em all.

That's it, LEGO needs to start making Warhammer sets, and if they're not up to this standard my faith in them will be forever ruined.

simply impressive. im honestly a bit dumbfounded and spent a good half hour just staring at all that is going on. obviously these are larger than the proper space marine models, but the proximal scale to each other (especially the dreadnaught and predator) is beautifully correct. each weapon is distinctively recognizable and the details on the vehicles down to the smoke launchers and exhaust vents just leaves me staring.
to sum it up, damn fine job

Wow... that is simply amazing. So much detail. I had to really look hard to spot how you've made some of these pieces work. Mind = Blown.

That is AWESOME. Really creative uses for some of the pieces too, particularly the plasma weapons and chainsword.

What did you use for the heads? Stormtrooper helmets?

Aye, red stormtrooper helmets. They weren't that red when I bought them, though.

20$ is not enough for just ONE of the motors in the tank, not to mention that there are three motors there, two IR receivers, one rechargeable battery and good few hundred of $ just in pieces.... and they generally don't stick together too good so I think I'll pass on the offer :)

Do you have a LDR file for the marines?

And have you heard of Mobile Frame Zero? It's a tabletop game played with squads of lego robots that are around-about the same scale as these guys.

What's really sad is these would likely still be cheaper than buying the actual models from GamesWorkshop, even considering production time of you putting them together.

You would be very badly surprised, then.
I see a tactical squad (original, from GW) on Amazon, for 50$... there is just no way you would get even parts for 10 tacticals like on the photo for 50$. Just totally no way...

can you use these in battle?
Reply
:iconscharnvirk:
Scharnvirk Featured By Owner Oct 16, 2013
Sure! Since the tank is remotely controlled and weighs more than 1 kilo, it has enough power to crush GW figures painted with even hardest paint :D

But really, no, because they do not have bases (which are mandatory for infantry) and are about 2.5x bigger than official models.

Excellent work. Which Chapter are they from? (The Marines' colors remind me of the Blood Angels, but the insignia on their flags suggest they're from a different Chapter.)
